Type of Coffee
Arabica || Gourmet

Considered the champagne of coffee, arabica beans have an amazing aromatic richness that produces a smooth and deep flavor, simultaneously. Arabica bushes grow at high altitudes, between 500 and 2,400 meters above sea level. Arabica beans represent approximately 75% of world production, but only 10% of these species are truly special and can be considered in the «gourmet» category.

For coffee to be labeled “gourmet” the beans need to be the selected best out of the harvested beans from that season.
The coffee needs to be planted at a certain microclimate and altitude (at least 1,000 meters above sea level). This criteria perfects the process of coffee cultivation from seed to the growth of the fruit.
